Lots 'o' questions
so i have deduced where my disappearing coolant has gone. my freeze plug on the back of the head was slowly leaking. now it has finally given way and as soon as any coolant get there it leaks till its gone.
so now onto the questions
1. do freeze plugs just go bad or something making that happen?
2. what is the easiest way to change that particular one on the back of head. pull head or drop transmission?
3. my check engine light came on and i pull the code 0118 coolant temp sensor. anything to do with what was happening low coolant/electric fan not connected?
4. ive got other questions but these are what i need answered first it may answer my others too

To fix that leaking freeze plug, you will need to remove the head. Fix that and then work the other issues. Hope that helps

Freeze plugs usually rust out due to not enough coolant concentration in the system. This means if 1 rusted through, the others aren't far behind.
