Was installing an overhead console in my 2000 and (stupidly) cut the black, pink, and yellow wires in the original wiring harness (which is meant for the original dome light/reading lights). Slight spark when I was cutting them, and the interior lights flashed. Went about the install and when I went to test the lights in the console, I found that none of the interior lights work now. The head unit has no power either. I know these both use the same fuse, so I assumed the fuse was blown. I checked fuse 16 (which I believe is correct) and the fuse is intact. Any ideas on what else could be causing this issue?
EDIT: I was able to fix the issue, found the blown fuse in the engine bay fuse box. Got the radio and ALL the lights working great.

You blew fuse number 9 more than likely. This is why in all my write ups I preface everything with cutting one wire at a time. Also removing the negative battery terminals. (That wouldn't have helped here) I did a write up on installing a 93-95 ZJ OHC into my XJ with all functions. Almost done. Got 1 more junkyard run to get it right.
Heres some diagrams I'm sure you'll find the blown fuse.
I didn't see the edit. I really need to finish reading posts before responding lol.
