Was looking at putting in a sound bar on my 90 2 dr. Took the back panel off to see where I might splice, but haven't I didnt touch anything yet, just looked...Here's the problem...The next time I start the beast, the radio, clock, over head interior lights and rear cargo light don't work...I checked the fuses and all were fine. I pulled the radio in case there was a fuse back there, but there wasn't. I don't know anything about electronics so I'm stumped
..Please help... I really would like some tuneage. I have about 1.5 hr drive to work and it gets boring.
thanks

I was looking through my Haynes at the Audio wiring diagrahm...Could it be a relay in the engine compartment...And would it affect the over head interior lights and clock??? I'm really stumped.

Use a tester to make sure your fuse is getting power, if it is when you pulled it off, you must have bumped something loose back there, or grounded the light to the rear dome, check those out. It's all on one circuit.
ya it could be the OBS fuse in the fuse block under the hood, its related to the radio and interior lights. in fuse block in cab they are all off of dome or radio fuse

I Found the problem....It turned out to be the fuse for the overhead interior lights...I wouldn't have thought that would have been the problem...Thanks for all of the help...I'm sure I'm gonna need more when I start working underneath the beast...Actually, I DO have a noise I've been trying to locate and fix...I've got this grinding noise (it sounds like it's coming from the rear end) when I let up on the gas and/or maintain a speed. I just replaced the u-joints in the rear as a buddy suggested. Took it for a test drive, problem is still there. I think I might have a blown seal in the rear Diff or that it might be the bearings or gears. It's a chrysler 8.25 and it's been awesome so far. Any help is appreciated and thanks in advance.

I've got the same rear end and guessing the same noise, I'm thinking mine might be wheel bearings, only 7 bucks each, but a P.I.T.A. to fix.

I think I'm just going to start from the rear and work my way forward. I was thinking about replacing the rear/front diffs with dana 44's, but I kinda like the chrysler 8.25. If I do, what gear ratio would be the best. And can I keep the 8 1/4 and upgrade the gears?
