You will need to have a quantity of eight nuts for fastening up the axle U-Bolts; but not just any Hex Head nut. The correct sized "Flanged Hex Nut" is what you will need to purchase.

If you have the Chysler 8.25 Rear axle, then the U-Bolts will be 3 inches in spread and the threads will be M12-1.75 and you can get the correct Class 8 at your nearest Lowe's store in the hardware section. They are availabe two nuts in the white plastic envelope marked "HILLMAN". part number 880819 at the price of two nuts for $1.15 per envelope.

Might I suggest that you replace the 14 MM chassis attaching bolts that go thru the spring's fixed eye. They are available from your local Jeep dealer under Part No. 34202118.
