looking at replacing my leafsprings, do i have everything?

should i get shackles too? how about bump stops? (http://www.quadratec.com/products/52422_01.htm i have one, but not the other)

i think you need the u-bolt nuts. look for a u-bolt kit

well while your doing all this why not add a touch of lift maybe a longer shackle or a block if you must, or a add a leaf. but from my mind it looks okay, but more replys will give you a better answer, good luck

well im going to see how it looks after i replace them because as it is my leafs are inverted basically since theyre so worn out. but i dont want the thing looking like a drag car if i shackle the back and do nothing to the front.

You will need to have a quantity of eight nuts for fastening up the axle U-Bolts; but not just any Hex Head nut. The correct sized "Flanged Hex Nut" is what you will need to purchase.

If you have the Chysler 8.25 Rear axle, then the U-Bolts will be 3 inches in spread and the threads will be M12-1.75 and you can get the correct Class 8 at your nearest Lowe's store in the hardware section. They are availabe two nuts in the white plastic envelope marked "HILLMAN". part number 880819 at the price of two nuts for $1.15 per envelope.

Might I suggest that you replace the 14 MM chassis attaching bolts that go thru the spring's fixed eye. They are available from your local Jeep dealer under Part No. 34202118.
