So this morning i went to start the jeep and it took a little longer to start than normal. Ran fine, nothing werid or different. Later on i went to start it, and it shuddered and felt like it was trying to die(around 400-500 rpm). Gave it gas and it dident help(it actually made it get closer to dieing 200-300 rpm). Shut it off, turned in on and everything was happy again. Sound like injectors? Just did plugs, wires, cap, button, air filter, upstream o2, tps and cleaned the throddle body. 1997 xj. 4.0, 140,000 mi

Does the CEL light when you turn on the jeep? Bulb out... ?
Sounds like what happens to my 96 and a code comes up for failed injector, and I always get a CEL.

Ive only had this jeep for a few months. Does the cel light actually say check engine or is it just that little engine symbol? On my old blazer it actually said "check engine". If its just the symbol then my light works fine.
This sounds like what happend when i had a bad tps sensor. It would start to stall the minute i gave it any gas. This happend on a 99 cherokee 4.0. The throttle position sensor is easy to change you just need a hex kit and the pieve is behind the breather hose. I could be wrong, but hope this helps.
