Default Looking to install a Stroker

I am looking at installing a stroker at some point in the next 6 months. A couple of questions.

1. How much should I anticipate spending after all is said and done? If I install it or if a mechanic installs it.

2. Anyone got one already and any recommendations as far as manufacturers?

I'm leaning towards a http://jeepstroker.com/index.php?act...od&productId=2 Hammer head stroker.

Thanks for the help.

I am going to do my own soon and I plan on spending about $1,000,I will be doing it myself and buying the parts and have machine work done on block,if you have someone do it for you,you can easily double that amount at least, closer to $3,000.
There is alot of info on here, and on the internet,I just type in 4.0 strokers.

I have looked around the internet at some stuff but just wanted to get input from people that have or are going to be building one.

My wife overheated mine and messed up the headers. If I have the block dinoed would it be possible to use my existing engine to build one?

Yea I bookmarked it but haven't had a chance to read it yet. Will certainly take a look at it. Seemed interesting.

That's the kind of stuff I'm looking for tho. Info I might not otherwise find.
