Hi,
I am about to drive from Ireland to Poland in 3 days time. It is 2000km all the way. I did full service including automatic gearbox, front an rear brakes, exhaust, tstat, accessory belt.
One thing that I can't fix is u-joint in front axles. They simply have no u-joints in Ireland. I can buy full axle which cost 180 euro each, that's over 200 $ each.
My question is can I remove front axles and front drive shaft for the journey ?
Thanks for all write ups, advices and suggestions.

You probably could but you would have to seal the houseing to keep all the crud from getting in and destroying the diff. Are you shur the ujoints are bad or just don't want to take the chance.
Good luck on your trip.
