i am going to use a dakota rear soft line.dose it matter if its 4x4 or 2wd?
what do i tell the parts store?
when i called auto zone they told me 4x4 is not the same as 2wd?
is that even true?
any help would be great.....

 

ok i just looked on there web site and they both have the same part number so i think that guy did not know what he was talkin about.he also told me the cheapest one they had was 30 bux.the one i just looked at is 17 bux.i hope i am lookin a the wrong parts.cuz if he just gave me the run around like that for nothing',','i would like to ring his neck',','...

still no awnswer from you guys.i know somebody here is using the dakota rear line.

 

I used YJ hoses front and rear. They are about 3-4" longer and screwed in as the stock ones came off.

 

maybe thats what i will do to.how much lift do you have?

 

I'm at 2" for now but have heard about them being used on 4 1/2" kits.

Yup. Might have to tweak the steel line from the caliper depending on tire clearance.

 

wait wait wait.i need the rear hose for my jeep.i think you are talking about the front right.

 

I gotta learn to open my eyes when I'm snoozing. Yes, the rear hose will be ducky. I was thinking all the hoses.

 

ok i just relized you said front an rear....but the rear is from the same 95 yj 4x4..right.i just dont wanna run back and fourth to the parts store...thanks for helpin me out here..

 

Yup, 4x4. You won't need the drop bracket for the stock XJ hose then.
