Inshort:
I want a long arm kit. But I DO NOT want to loose my NP242.
The scoop:
Good vibrations...
Bad vibrations....
Nothing real indepth on WHAT causes it or how to stop it.
Ive read that size wise the NP242 is relatively the same size as the NP231. It just hangs lower which hypathetically could be fixed by raising the unit as a whole. And I have seen an offset U-joint...wouldn't that also fix this problem?
Thoughts, opinions, suggestions, and ofcourse websites are more than welcome.
-thanks agains-

Actually a 242 plays a big role in long arms. It's hard to find quality long arm kits that will work with the 242 without spending a load of cash. He's not azking how to fix vibes, he's asking opinions on ways to resolve the delima.

I havnt seen a LA kit that fits w/ the NP242. Feel free to show me these. Money is not really an object at this point.

The NP242 uses the same cross member and frame. The problem with the fitment comes from the use of a suggested SYE. There are options such as the Hack and Tap kit that will fix this. Or, if you do a little work, the stock driveline can be used with up to 4.5" of lift. Either way, it will not affect the long arms or the mounting of them.

I appreciate the plethora of information. Going to research more into the hack n tap kits.
Overall, I have thought highly of the TNT YA kit that was in JP mag, however it says for NP231 only, much like every single LA lift I have really enjoyed and oogled over.
Gonna keep diggin lol
Website, thoughts, opinions welcome

the NP242 shouldnt affect mounting...but you will want an SYE and unfortunately they only offer hack-n-taps for the 242....but that should be fine and hold up for what ur gonna be doing
