I can't believe no one has mentioned an Aussie for the front.

Similar design to the Lockrite, but better

Tupton I have been so disappointed in them for their lack of a 8.25 locker and their waffling on when it was going to be introduced that I have put them at the top of my "Ignore" list. Yes they make a great locker but if it won't fit what you want then it is useless.
I have e-mailed them half a dozen times and got 1 reply that they were working on it and it will be out this fall. They finally have it listed on their website but no option to put it in the cart.
That is why I didn't mention it in a nutshell.

I used to talk with the guy who founded Aussie. He was a fellow club member up in Rochester, NY. I never met him in person but spoke with him and read some of his threads on the club's forum. He explained the process of getting a locker built and buy-able and it didn't seem easy. I kinda expected the long wait. Trial and error is part of the process of making a good quality product so i know once the rear aussie comes out for the 8.25 FOR SURE, we won't be disappointed. I think it's worth the wait.

I have a D30 and 8.25" on my 95'. I installed lauchbox lockers in both diffs. because of improper installation on the D30 i destroyed the front diff. but the rear was good. I ran it for about 2 years with great results. However, when I get my next set they will be selectable...I think its a better choice
