Default Lift

Ok I just added 2" more to my XJ I already had a 6.5" rough country lift and I just added 2" more. Think the tires are to small now for the clearance.
Trying to determine if I should go 35" tires or stay 33"???
Any opinions???

go big or go home, I say go with the 35's I love big tires that gives you more clearance bigger lift does nothing except maybe give you a little more flex

That's what I was thinking lol I think 35" would be awesome on it. I just didn't want it looking like a tonka toy lol I can flex my 33" into my fenders but now I have 2" more I was thinking 35" shouldn't hurt anything.

I'm running 35s with less lift than that and before I went full width I could stuff them in the fenders. Not sure what axles you are running but keep them in mind when thinking about getting bigger tires.

Default looks good either way.

Can you put some flares on it to close the gap?

Ya that's what I was afraid of lol When we go wheeling we go hard and I drive it back and forth to work but with the 33" it does amazing offroad.

The fenders are trimmed up where I can't fit screws into them to hold up fenders. I ate the metal fenders last time we went offroading. I can flex my 33" all the way up into my fenders i'm afraid if I get flares on it I would rip them off.

Default Wow.

Wonder if anyone makes metal ones? Rivet or weldable. Sounds like a custom job to me.

Default Thats absolutely bulletproof!

If You make them they will come. A lot of work, but if you're going to make a lot of them it'll get easier and faster to makem.
