the wheel is actually stopping or the shaking comes and goes? start by checking the bearings and the axle U-joints and Tire balance.

Wheel bearing or u-joint maybe. Have you jacked up the front end yet to see if anything seems out of the ordinary?

You say left front- is that because you look out the window and can see it, or have you had a passenger look out the passenger side? It may be a bad or broken shock or the dreaded death wobble !

Maybe wheel bearings or ball joints?

When is the last time the alignment was checked?

When tracking down any front end vibe issues, alignment and balance should be first. Start simple then go on to the more advanced items.

No-No-No, when tracking down vibration issues having an alignment does nothing for the vibration. This sounds more like the front u-joint may be binding up and causing the vibration , but if the wheel is stopping then I would consider the wheel bearing. Check the wheel bearings for movement, also listen for grinding noise coming from the bearing. This need to be checked with the front wheels off the ground, best to have the 4x4 locked in so both wheels will spin and listen to each wheel. Have a garage jack up both axles so the jeep can be placed in drive so the front wheel can be checked at various speeds. The wheel bearing could be so badly worn the bearings are grinding into the axle shaft and causing the wheel to stop.

"when i am driving sometimes the left front wheel shakes and stops randomly , usely happens when going 45 stright or a little turn any ideas"

the statment the the wheel stops ramdomly almost sound like the bearings are heating up and binding or the shake may be the u-joint binding.

I was thinking the bearing race may be coming apart and locking up against the axle shaft. I have seen this working part time in an automotive shop for the last 10 years, but now that I think about it, it happens mostly on 2 wheel drive E-150 vans that have separate wheel bearings and races. Have seen quite a few where the race and bearings have chewed up the shart after drying out and getting hot or really rusty.

After a long 12hour day I probably wasn't thing right.

Check the tires, bearing and the U Joint...
This sounds pretty weird... Make sure everything is scanned before you run it again to avoid any accidents...
