Default Leaking rear differential cover.

Just noticed a creeping layer of fluid starting to cover my cover Suggestions?

pull the cover and reseal it and fill with new gear oil....

is there a lip along the bottom that bent when dragging it over an obstacle and starting to leak there?

Or is it the plastic fill plug is leaking as they frequently do?

It's seems to be leaking from the top.

Take the cover off, clean the surfaces of the cover and housing, apply an even coat of RTV, put cover pack on and fill with new gear oil

My 8.25 weeps from the rubber plug.

If you have an 8.25 did you look there?

they all do unless yu buy a after market cover with screw in plug
