Default Leak Detector pump P1494

Ok, as I am chasing around an emissions P0441 I decided to pull out the LDP and do a bench test. I put a jumper from the Jeep battery to the terminal on the LDP connector. and a jumper to ground. (there were 3 terminals)

I think I put the battery jumper on the wrong terminal. And now I have a P1494. ummmm I think I screwed up the LDP. I was thinking about replacing it anyways with it being stock in a 339.000 mile jeep. But I admit I don't do electrical much and probably should've known for sure where it went.

So if I had put the hot jumper on the wrong terminal could I have screwed it up ??
