in 2wd or 4wd?
if it's 4wd, most likely your front axle shaft u-joints.
if 2wd, then it could be your rear driveshaft u-joints, tranny mount, motor mounts, exhaust hitting the crossmember, maybe just your 4wd shifter linkage knocking on the floor....

sounds like in the front, almost like its comin from the engine, so im supposin it the ujoints, its 4wd, of course, why fool with anything less right haha. if its the u joints, i imagine thats an easy fix, im out at school and theres a unimaginable amount of hills around here, so ive noticed it more than usual. is the ujoint thing a common problem? once i fix it, will it recur or is it just a crappy part kinda thing? really preciate yalls help btw

sorry, i meant to say when it's in 4wd and you hear it, then it's most likely the front axle u-joints gone dry. common problem, yes. easy to repair, yes, relatively.
if you are hearing it when it's in 2wd, then it could be one of the other problems i listed.
