Cool KC or hid lightbar?

I am new to off roading, and i was wondering what lights would be best for night driving. KC lights or light bar?

Hid lights would be your best bet, but they are expensive. 6 inches of led light bar puts out the same light roughly as a a 100w kc daylighter.

Ya I've had KC Daylighters and they are more of a "beam" if you get what I mean. Not a broad spectrum.
Go with some good hids on a light bar

KC is a brand, not a style or configuration.

Lightbars can be had in Spot, Flood, or a combination of both.

Unless you're blasting across the desert, most 4 wheeling is a slow process, so choose the lights that will benefit the terrain you'll be on.

Your spotter(s) will appreciate rock lights if you wheel at night.
