well should i go with a new muffler? flowmaster 40? I want the deep tone but not to loud lol

 

i dont deal to much with borla i can tell u that the flowmaster 40 is kinda the middle of the road as far as sound goes. i put a glass pack on mine and it sounds like crap. i personally like v force mufflers there alot like a flowmaster 40 just a little cheaper and they sound a little deeper. i love them on trucks but i havent heard one on a jeep 4.0 yet.

 

In NY you can go with anything 25 years and older and it doesn't need a CAT. Our drag car is an "84 and we are gonna put a wiper motor in it to make it street legal and that doesn't need a CAT in this state cuz it's 25 years old.

My boss has a '99 Grand and he uses the Dynaflow and it sounds pretty good. Just a low rumble.
