Default Junkyard motor pre-install tuneup

Sup guys. Going to the JY in the morning to get a replacement motor for my father in laws 99. Just making sure im not missing anything on my tune up list of goodies before i install it. Motor is out of a 99 with 101k on it. Heres the list: oil pan gasket, valve cover gasket, intake mani gasket, rear main seal, timing chain, dizzy cap, plug wires, plugs, thermostat, belt, upper and lower radiator hoses. Any additions or thoughts? Thanks

timing cover gasket and front crank seal? should come with an oil pan gasket and rear main seal in a gasket conversion kit actually available at autozone. Hell, while you've got it that far and putting it into a vehicle you might even consider turning some new bearings into it while you got it out.

http://www.autozone.com/autozone/par...mString=search

that covers the bottom end seals for you. Water pump couldn't hurt either if you can afford to do all this.

Not sure why they call it a conversion kit, lol. Maybe because it converts to reusable seals from the old cork ones?
