Default Jeep stuttering

I have a 1999 jeep cherokee sport 4x4 automatic. I have replaced spark plugs, crank sensor, exhaust, fuses, hoses, clamps, etc. No lights are on. The jeep will randomly start to stutter wheen accelerating, whether I'm going 10mph or 50mph. It doess it when im at red lights or stop signs too. I have to pull over and let the jeep shake and idle terrible, turn it off, wait 5 seconds and turn it back on then it runs fine. I have taken it to multiple mechanics all for them to tell me they can't find what is wrong. Someone help!!

You've replace the exhaust?? As in exhaust manifold? If so, you could have an intake leak. Make sure you torque down to proper specs. 24 ft lbs. I would also check vacuum lines, replace TPS and fuel filter if you haven't done so.

You have a '99?

How did you check the fuel filter?

It's on the bottom of your fuel pump.

I would suspect an electrical problem.

You can test the ignition coil but inspect it first for cracks. If cracked, replace it, if not cracked, test it.

Mechanic went over everything when I first took it in. He said the fuel filter was fine.
