Does anyone think the back press would blow a head gasket?

You should just buy it and hope for the best but expect for the worst!! The head gasket is more than likely fine if it doesnt overheat at idle or miss. Take a risk and swoop up that deal. Im sure it just needs some TLC and you'll be on the road!!!

 

If it's overheating that fast, in addition to what's already been mentioned- pull the water pump and have a look. I wouldn't be shocked if the impellers were gone.

 

Will likely need a COMPLETE cooling system overhaul if you buy it, along with possibly a crank sensor.

See what you can get it for; you don't have much to lose and parts themselves are going to be worth way more than you paid for it.

 

So guys after a night in the garage we've determined when the cooling system built pressure the was a seam cracked in the radiator and it spewed steam, I installed a new radiator and she runs like a top not to bad for $606
