Default Jeep not starting, no noise!

Please help, just as I was about to resolve my headlamp switch issue, I get in my jeep (1994 XJ) to pick up the switch part and I drove it down the street. Forgot my phone, turned around, ran in the house came back and car won't start, no noise. Please help!

Start with verifying/cleaning your battery cables and battery posts.

If all good there, try wiggling the shift lever while you turn the key or try starting in neutral. If either of these techniques allow the engine to turn over, the problem is in your "neutral safety switch".

Good luck and keep us updated.
