Default Jeep not running on all cylinders on start up

My jeep runs great when going done the road and stuff... But it has a problem when two tracking... When I turn it off then go to turn it back on it will shake and not run on all cylinders... If I pump the gas sometimes I can get it to run normal again... The temp seems to be high too... If I let it cool down it will start and run fine... Should I buy a better fan for it and I am not sure if the one I have ever turns on... What would be a good fan to buy would move a lot of air if you think that is my problem... Thanks

Verified fuel pressure? Do you have the heat shield on the injectors? What head is on the rebuild? Cooling system redone at engine replacement?

I wrapped the headers and injectors, the 2000 head is on rebuild, and a new pump was put on during rebuild

With a fuel pressure gauge at the rail. Local parts store should have them available to rent.

So, is your head a 0331? Any coolant loss? Milky oil?

Would my electric fan not working cause it to get hot when two tracking and not start up good?

How high? What are the numbers? From your description, you may be overheating it, and of course then it runs badly.

No.

You should not even THINK about a new fan until you know exactly what your current problem is.

Yes, that and your fan clutch being bad.

IF you are overheating it badly enough to cause problems like you describe, your engine may already be pretty well trashed.

Again, what are the numbers? What does the gauge say?

"seems to be high" doesn't tell us anything.

I am used to my jeep running a little under 210 ( like maybe 205) and the highest was like 211... So not that high... I am just used to it being lower when going down road.

211 is not a heating problem. Not even a little bit.

Not starting when up to operating temperature is a completely different picture now that we know you do NOT have an overheating problem.
