title says it, could it be worn out springs or shocks? the rear leafs i just rebuilt with a bastard pack so im pretty sure it aint the rears causing it. so im bettin its the shocks atleast hopefully
You mean the infamous Xj lean. From what I have seen quite a few have it. I was told its the rear springs from engine torque. However you said you rebuilt yours, so now Im not sure. Maybe someone will help us both out on this. I doubt its a twisted body.

If the shocks are worn out go ahead and replace them. BUT. Shocks DO NOT affect ride height. They are not causing or affecting the lean. The lean is either springs or somthing is bent. Yes I know about air shocks, and that is a seperate issue and if used correctly wouldn't cause a lean either.

did you torque your u-bolt plates and shackle bolts for the rear leafs when the jeep weight was on the ground? or at least on axle stands, under the axle with all weight on.
if the leaf spring was hangin when you torqued it all down, it won't settle properly and would be jacked up.
