Shackle angle question 2" vs Stock.
Will my shackle angle be improved or worse if I put the stock shackles back in, see pics?
These are 2" shackles with a S-10 main added to the pack, nettting 3.5" lift. If I used the stock shackle I would swap in some more of the S-10 pack to acheive 3" to 3.5" lift. Benifit of going to the stock shackle would be improved pinion angles and less strees to the springs. But if shackle angle wont be improved not worth it, IMO. What Do you say?

If I had access to a welder, I'd do a relocation bracket. I wonder if I could work up a bolt on version , like the HD OFFROAD system, http://www.hdoffroadengineering.com/...relocation-kit

Ok I'll rephrase, bolted together brackets. Only thing I have to weld with is JB Weld, somehow I doubt that would hold-up. Could be wrong, maybe I'll glue some up for my A-Hole neighbor, let him test it for me.

Yeah I have a buddy with a welder, but he sucks at welding, and is very **** about other people using his stuff. Not worth the hassle. Welding shop not possible right now, no Job, No money.
I may just stick the stock shackle in, see what it looks like. No Job mean plenty of time to kill, so if it not an improvement no loss.
