Hi, i have a 99 cherokee classic, i recently just did a basic tune up on it and then it didnt run right at idle, so i replaced the Idle air control motor/valve, and then the throttle position sensor. it ran great for a few days and then one day it shut off while driving, so i stopped and started her up again, i got about a half mile down the road and it shut off randomly again!! but this time no start at all, just cranks over and over again... Please help!!!! Thanks in advance!!

Don't just start throwing parts at it without doing any real diagnosis. That's a really good way to run yourself broke.

Check for spark. Check for good fuel pressure. Go from there.

An inexpensive voltmeter is a good investment.
You can check the voltage on the CPS plug near the rear of the engine.
My 97 showed no voltage so I replaced it this week. Still no start.
I replaced my coil, no start.
Checked all the fuses....

My 97 CPS was not too difficult. From under my truck, I used a long
extension with a 11mm socket to take the CPS off.
On the install, I did it from the top. There is enough room between the
intake, and the brake booster to reach the area where the CPS goes.
I oiled the two bolts first, hand tightened, and then used a short 7/16 wrench to tighten the two bolts....

I do not have a photo. From under your Jeep, driver side, look at the bell housing upper left corner, there are two bolts. My 97 had 11mm bolts, but I installed my new CPS with a short 7/16 wrench from the top of the engine. With a voltmeter, my old CPS tested bad. My 97 still not starting, coil not firing....
