Like Ive said. Start tracing wires!
If the charging system is screwed up theres only so many things it could be. Wires, Fusible links, Fuses, Alternator.

If the diodes in the alternator regulator are shot it might still work with a low charge, but as soon you switch on lights and heater the tension goes down. Jeep runs like crap cause the fuel pump doesn't get enough current, and drains the battery. If you have a tester you can check the alternator by reading the volts on the batt terminals when engine is running and lights are on. If it's lower than 11 volts it's bad.

ok just so i understand how would anything have been screwed up if i didnt and no one else touched it? can it just get messed up itself?

this might be the most useful info. when i talked to my guy who looked at it he said yesterday the jeep ran like crap and he said today it was running fine. thanks a bunch

haah there not pulling my chain theyve been working on my jeep since b4 i even owned it my family has gone to them for prolly close to 15 years now and they do alot of work for us for free. and Defiance665 thanks that makes total sense now. ill bring up both these issues when i talk to them next
