Mine will be running great after I fix a few minor problems, and I'll be back on the road in one of my favorite vehicles.

151k and twenty of the hardest miles this thing can imagine daily, not to mention when i go wheelin once a week. i had to do a water pump, it was easy and led to no problems either.

Mine is running GREAT also!!! I have had a few issues, but due to the GREAT information on this site I have been able to do the following:
1) use the SEARCH button and read all kinds of possible causes that are related to my issue
2) Post questions about my symptoms and get feedback on what to look at.
3) Feel great about the choice I made when I sold my wifes Honda Accord and bought my XJ!

Love this forum!!!

Jeep is running great, although I am still chasing down my DW issue from lifting it. Oh well, I have read a ton of great suggestions and possible causes on this forum and will go home from work today and most likely properly diagnose and then fix the issue.

184000 on the 87 and still taking a beating.

My xj is the most reliable vehicle I've owned.

As far as that other thread stating the obvious. The guy didn't show any common sense. No duh nearly every post is going to be about problems, questions, & concerns we have. & when it's fixed we don't start another(seperate) thread about our jeep running as it should. Some don't even inform us that the problem was ever resolved. Although this thread could start a horrible trend. lol But they will all be for comedic purposes while also proving a point sarcastically.

170k...It starts, runs, drives like a new truck. I love my Jeep. It's never let me down.

WHOAAAAA there big guy! are you sure this didnt affect your hazzard lights.......
you know you can't just go changing parts on these XJs "with out having to wallet bomb it or haul out the mechanic, the electrician, and the computer expert to get equally hosed anyhow"

You need to march straight out to the local "Hyundai" shop and get some of this RIGHT AWAY!! .................
