Jeep Cherokee idling too high

Jeep Cherokee idling too high
2014 Jeep Cherokee Latitude 4x4 idles @ 1rpm - 1.5rpm when I start the engine. What causes this & will it damage anything if a drive it a few days until I can get it adjusted?

Second... You might want to post in the KL subforum, this area is for XJ's.
Third... I wouldn't think it's a big issue, but I am an XJ guy... We have far bigger problems LOL!
