Jeep Cherokee 2001 4.0 misfire
It almost always starts misfiring when I come into a long slow down. Like running 55 mph and slowing for a stop light without using my brakes. Check engine light will flash while misfiring and code will read random misfire.....p300 and usually additional codes like p3001 and p3005. If I stop the engine and start it right back up again it will stop misfiring and run fine until next time which could be 20 plus miles.
Mechanic replaced coil pack (thought the replacement was bad and replaced again), did a BG injector cleaner and fuel treatment. Checked spark plugs. Any ideas?

Gotta rule proper fuel delivery in or out early in the troubleshooting process. Only takes a few minutes to put a gauge on the schrader valve on the fuel rail.
For a 2001, you should have 49 psi, plus or minus 5 psi.
