Default jeep aw4 transmission issue

okay so if i let this thing sit in traffic while its hot out and i start driving the jeep just starts over flowing tranny fluid out the dip stick? i dont know what is causing this do you guys have any ideas?

if it helps its a 2000 jeep cherokee sport with the aw4 transmission

no its done this twice now. i feel its a cooling issue like something could be clogged? its done this since the kid i bought it from kinda swamped it

my guess is you got **** in your lines.

Swamped it as in under water? Deep enough to get water inside the trans?

lets just say the only thing u could see was abt an inch of the roof swamped the motor was fully re serviced but the trans was only fluid changed and a new filter. so i think maybe water got into the torque converter and it just boiled out?

Its a Jeep, not a submarine!

Yeah, it could be that you have water in the trans fluid and its boiling out.

In thats case I would probably get it flushed a couple times and change the filter again

Jeeps practically are submarines man. just need a snorkel and to tie all your vent hoses or any kind of intake way up high. like on the snorkel
