Default Intermittent A/C Blower

So, I've read about this a lot and on a lot of forums and no one seems to have the answer. On my 2000 Cherokee A/C blower works intermittently on fan setting 4 on recirculate. Works all the time on all other a/c settings and fan speeds. Have replaced the blower relay, blower and fan assembly twice thinking the first was defective, and checked the fuses. Also checked the switch panel for any melting issues as others have had and nothing. All in all it still does it. Also it only does it when outside temp is above 80 which it already is here in KY. The only other thing I can think of is the A/C relay under the hood which is hot to the touch with the a/c running but I don't think it controls the blower. Any help would be great because two different dealerships can't even figure it out.

The blower motor relay has already been replaced twice. Still the same problem. This intermittent thing only happens when the outside temp is 80 or above. Also it started doing this after the original blower went out. I get power to the blower at all times and all settings.

Here's a diagram for your blower circuit.

Is the recirc door interfering with the blower in some way?

Pull the kick cover off to gain access to the recirc door and resistor block.

Start engine, climb under dash to look at the recirc door, select Max AC on the mode selector on then off, then back on again, watch the door move. Is there any interference you can see with the fan? Is there any foam or seal material floating around inside the duct?
