Installing Hella 500s
I am getting 4 hella 500s to go on a light bar on my roof and was wondering how to easily install them. If anyone has experience installing these on the roof is there anything that I should be aware of? Pictures would be great, thanks.

I mounted 2 on my roof. If the light bars already there, you passed the hard part, (In my opinion). The mounting should be easy and then its just the wiring. Is the wiring the issue for you?

I have a general idea on what to do but I was wondering how you ran the wires, did you go from the roof through the door into the cab and through the firewall, or some other way?

Actually, I had my headliner board out at the time since I had to redo it. So, Before I mounted the bar, I drilled a hole right through the roof under the hollow bar. So I ran em through the bar, through the roof, then down through the pillar, and through the firewall. (If you do drill a hole though, make sure its sealed up reaalllly good

Hello all
I was looking at the hella 500s 55 watts lights at the local parts store if you put 2 or 4 lights on the light bar on top or fogs under the front bumper do you have to add any extra battery size or wire size or relays. to not to over heat an have a melt down. Right now My Jeepit is stock but i want to put fog lamps on the front bumper, but i have no high beam on the passenger side. Low beam is fine on both sides flasher and turn signal good. i triing to find info about any wiring for 98 cherokee sport 4 cyl. 2 wheel drive. The last owner did not have an owners guide
I also have a rear wiper and sprayer not working and CEL on found 15fuse bad but did not fix it and gas gage likes to wave at me it is just at all positions but other than that I Love My Jeep and IT peppy to drive for a 4 cyl and turns on a dime . Thanks for any help and for reading this long message>

Theres probably a few grommets poking through at a few different locations. I had one on the drivers side that was pretty easy to get to from the pillar.
