injectors sometimes not pulsing

Default injectors sometimes not pulsing

what would cause my renix 4.0 to run good. but when you shut it off and wait a few seconds and try to start it the injectors are not pulsing?

im having that problem with my 89 xj right now ive been trying to figure out why it would not start sometimes after you shut it off then i figured out that when it wont start the injectors are not pulsing

Okay, got you....
Have seen this somewhere else.
Go to the info threads and look into Cruisers renix tips, you will need to do some but all would be good. Namely the C101 connector I believe?

Mine is a 89 it doesn't have the c101 and I've already done most of cruisers tips

Glad to see you posted this in a thread.

Isn't your CPS output still low?

Have you tried wiggling the injector harness where it comes from the firewall to the back of the head and see if that gets it to restart? It could be chafed right there.

yea my cps output was low bit i went outside a lil earlier and pecked it closer to the flywheel with a hammer and a bar now its reading a steady .06 volts everytime but it still is doing the same thing

but its not near as bad now it use to be that sometimes it would have to sit for an hour or longer before it would start now it will start back after just a few minutes

It should be .5 AC volts.

Old trick he heard about where you take a long screwdriver and rap it with a hammer as it rest on the CPS bracket, driving the CPS closer to the flywheel.

Ok he moved it and got better current ....thought he meant the old tv smack trick....
