Does anyone have an indicator light for the four wheel drive? I haven't had one since I bought mine and was wondering if the xj even came with one. It's a 1995 Cherokee Sport if that makes a difference.

The 4x4 light in my 91 XJ is in a light cluster. If your's is not working you might just need to get a new bulb.

mine does not work either... but havent bothered to check into it. I know when I am in 4wd and take it out of 4wd when I park so that I wont get in it the next time and forget that it is on.

If you are looking at your dash from the driver seat, on the left side where the black indicators are for your brake and such, the light is towards the top on the left hand side. It is only a few screws to remove the cluster assy. and you can pull the blub and check to see if it is blown.

Is it seperate bulbs for each indicator, because my indicator for my parking brake works? Thanks for all the responses.
