Hey guys,
I have an 85 cherokee 4cyl that I completely stripped down to the bare frame (unibody, i know) and I built the motor up, blah blah... Anyways, I dropped the motor in it last night, and for the life of me I cant figure out how the alternator and power steering brackets mount back on. It did have A/C, but I'm not reinstalling that. Does anybody have pictures of how the mounts bolt up? I know that the p/s goes on the drivers side and the alternator goes under the A/C compressor on the passenger side, but these stupid brackets have me stumped... Its a long shot, but hopefully someone out there in the universe has pictures. Thanks guys...

magic marker would have came in handy huh? lol... sorry bro... no help here... just had to give you some crap... lol... i replaced a 350 in my 72 chevy and the best advice my dad gave me before i got started was to take pictures of everything from every angle... that way you can figure it out later...

 

1985? probably has the 2.8 V6, right?

 

thats what i was thinking... thought 4.0's came out in the cherokees in 88

 

He said 4 cylinder. Not 4.0. In other words, the 2.5. The Iron Duke. The Pontiac engine.

And I love Pontiacs.
