Hi all

My o4 KJ has decided not to let me turn the ignition key, it has been playing up a bit the last couple of days, but this morning it has packed up and won't
turn, could this be the key barrel itself or the little black button behind the
key that is used to free the ignitiuon for usage ?, everything i've read so far indicates that the whole column needs to be replaced because the ignition switch is non servicable dread to think what cost of new column will be.

Any Ideas ??

Actually no i didn't, when i've got a log book that says Jeep Cherokee crd, i guessed that a jeep cherokee forum might be the right place, i suppose over here in uk its cherokee and over usa liberty, nevertheless is it such a difficult thing to question, instead of being arrogant.

 

Yes it's very American-centric and the misunderstanding is extremely common.
