how did you swap out the oil pressure sending unit?

I've got the 1 1/16 open end wrench, but it hits the A/C hose, and you can't get to it from underneath, (I don't think).

And it's too long to get a deep socket over it.

I just used a small pipe wrench and it worked fine. I didn't even bother trying a socket.

there is a special socket(s) just for sending units. i think i have three different ones at work. the one you need should work on both sending units.

Thanks Zedpapa, I just found this one online for $9.25, supposed to fit 87 and up Chrysler, will order it if vice grips don't work.

On second thought maybe Autozone will have it as part of their tool loaner program.

I've always used vice grips.
