Im in desperate need of cheap tires to get me through the winter...
I have no lift on, but I can get a set of 31's off craigslist on the rim for 350 with 50% tred.
Im currently on 235s with no tred...Smoooooooth....

I wanna trim anyways, but how much can I fit???

 

i had 31x10.5x15 on my stock xj before i had my lift. i think you can fit without trimming. unless you wanna wheel, then you'll def rub

 

i looked the other day in the fab section, a guy did a step by step trim on his xj. it turned out real nice,,,, check it out

Isnt there anyone near you that sells used tires? You did say you wanted cheep didnt you? If I wanted used tires I can used around here for 35$ a piece with more than 50% tread just my 2ct PS that includes mounting
