Idiot light on after new sending unit.
Alright, so my old sending unit leaked, but it still worked fine otherwise. I bought a new one, installed it, and then I noticed the idiot light was on. Drove it the next day the light was still on but very dim. Then, the next two days it was on regularly. So today, I went to Auto Zone and bought another one, thinking the first one I bought was faulty. Took the old one out, put the new one in, and the light's still on. Tell me, what could possibly be going wrong here?

It would be useful if we new what you are talking about???
There are several sending units also need to know what year, engine. Or are we suppose to guess what you are talking about?

I bought an oil pressure sending unit from Autozone once... It ended up pinning the needle all the way to the right. Took it out and put in one bought directly from the dealer. And now it reads 60 while in motion and 20 at idle (which is what it should be). Sounds like you need to go get your money back from Awfulzone and get a non-Chinese part.

There are certain part that you want to get directly from the dealer and the oil sending unit is one of them. Once you get the new unit in let us know if it took care of the problem.
