ok, so now that i have to wait till i can afford a cps( seeing as im laid off) i was thinking a fabbing up a new transfercase shifter since i cant find an after market one, mines all rusted and doesn't move very nicely, even with out it being hooked up to the TC, so any other ideas on stuff to waist time lol?

 

Get a CPS out of a junkyard donor to get your XJ back on the road, then buy a new one when you can afford it. I bet you could get the JY one for less than $10 bucks.

i would go to the JY but with almost 12 inches of fresh powder in my normal stompping area, im gonna wait for any JY running till next week

With 12 iches of fresh snow I can see how that would put a damper on JY picking but, I'd be FOAMING at the mouth to get my XJ out in that!!!!!!Give the guys your address and get one of the said free CPS mailed to you and get out and tear that fresh powder up.

 

u sure its bad??? or is the connection bad. or does it need a good cleaning??? some things to waste time on there

 

good idea 76, but already know for sure its the sensor, but i'm getting a few from wicked_xj, so i'll be rocking it soon lol. i've been screwing around with my snowmobile for the last few days, so im having fun either way lol. so does anyone make a aftermarket replacement for the 4wd lever bracket and rods? thx guys

man, down here where i live we got -52 degree wind chills for the last two nights, dang garage turned into an ice box! no work done, but i went to auto zone and got some exhaust pipe to do up my exhaust, im gonna 45 it out to in front of the rear tire, gonna sond mean!(i hope)

 

it's been very cold here as well- actual temps 24 below + wind chill. I guess today is supposed to be a bit warmer and is not supposed to drop below +2 degreees.

Needless to say nothing is getting done to my vehicles either.
