Iac valve rebuild?

Well mine is def not an 88 but my experience was...and mind you this was prob the original IAC and my rig had 248K on it at the time.
Cleaned it (good )....nah still high idle at start
Replaced with Standard Motor Products.... nah same basic issue ( time to return to rockauto hopefully )
Factory MOPAR part..... doesn't go past 1200 when starting now. ( bought off eBay from good feedback sellar for HALF of what the stealership wanted )
Just my experience.
