Angry I need some HELP please.

I have a 97 Jeep Cherokee, country model. and i got a door locking promblem, can't get the door to lock. when I use door lock, it would not move the locks, it wil not move. after i install the door panels the locks would not move.. I know that there are only 2 rods, but can't seem to get them right. . does anyone have a digram as to how they should be ???? That would be a big help. Don't know if the rods got bent up or what.. Would try and order new rods and start over, but can't find these ?
any help would be Great. Thanks........Mouse

One rod end points up and one points down. From memory when doing it, there is only one way they can go. Did you rotate the clip and lock it on the rod after poking the rod through? Search youtube for video of window regulator replacement. They show the rods being hooked up clearly.
