Default More door questions?

Well after some looking in to i will have to drill out the lock so i decided to have a car lot look into it, but before i spend the 190 bucks on the repair i would like to know if anyone knew the average price for an entire drivers door. Remember it has to be the longer door from the 2 door model.

Why do you have to drill out the locks? Can't use a slimjim to get into your ride?

you don't need to drill the lock. Remove the door panel and gain access to the lock, then remove the clamp that holds the lock in place and unhook the link.

Yeah, it's just a spring clip that holds the lock cylinder in the door. Put away the drill!

Definitely remove the door panel and mess with the door latch.use some different sprays depending on what your preference is. Most likely that is your problem. Just had to replace mine. Doesn't take long at all. 2 bolts on the arm rest swing it around and it will come right out. The top panel is a little tricky its basically kinda slides in and pops in with plastic tabs. 3 screws on the door handle assembly then just pop the panel off you can slide it around the door handle assembly. You might not be able to do that since you can't get the door open. In that case take off the 2 rods connected to the door handle assembly. pull back the next layer, then your in. hard to see get to the latch but use some different sprays move them manually back and forth. Like 5 rods go to the door latch... Mine was getting bad. Was your lock turning difficult at all before this? I replaced both my door latches with new ones and they work like bew now. door was hanging a little low so added a washer to the bottom door mount too...
Thanks,
Lee
