Default Power Door Locks Sticking

When I try to unlock the doors using the power door locks the driver side door lock does not completley unlock. I have to prees the unlock button several times before I can open the door. Any suggestions how to fix it?

I can't help yet...But my 98 is doing the same on the passenger side. I guess you will have to remove the door panel to access the mechanism; probably not a big deal, something must be sticking and need some grease. If I get to it before you do I will let you know.

no need to open the door panel, just spray the lock, maybe work it around a bit by opening and closing the door a few times and locking and unlocking the door.

happens to my jeep some times. I also spray the button on the outside of the door handle but that makes the door open easy not the lock unlock. I usually just go around with a can of triflow and spay all moving parts once a year. Hood release cable, door hinges etc.

Good to know. If I can avoid taking the panel off I will. I'll try that. Thanks and sorry for highjacking the thread.
