I need some advice... eletrical problems...
1995 xj
220,000 miles on body
100,000 on rebuilt engine
Ok, so i was driving home last week and i noticed my turn signals were not working. I had emergency flashers, just no signals.... after researching the issue it seemed it was simply a bad relay.
I replaced the relay today. still not turn signals and now my emergency flasher do not work.
I started looking around connectors, unplugging and cleaning dirty connections. My fuses are good and everything seems to be connected at the moment....
SOO... i went to start the engine and NOTHING!... WONT START at all. i have radio and lights but no crank
any ideas?

I dint think they're one in the se problem, related? Maybe.
For the no start tho. Try putting it in neutral and starting it. If nothing its prolly not the nss.
If you don't hear a starter motor trying to turn your engine over than its either power to the starter, starter connections, the starter itself, or a problem with the ignition switch somewhere along the way

pretty sure no reverse light is a nss issue which also involves no start search nss cleaning id also take a test light and see if your getting current at smaller wire on starter when trying to start

im pretty sure i was. not 100% at the moment.... could a loose nsse be the issue? everyone says its a real ***** to get off. i didnt really have an issue. the main bolt was very loose and i was able to get it righ off. its covered in oil and grime. im really hoping this is the issue.
