I May Have Found My XJ!!!
I already introduced myself, but I would like to introduce my prospective "new" XJ purchase.
I have this one for the weekend to check out and decide if it's MY next ride.
It is a 99 Sport with:
4.0l 6
4 Speed Auto
4x4
4" Skyjacker lift (Rancho shocks)
d35 / d30
30x9.50 AT's
AC
Power windows, locks, mirrors
Roof Rack
136k on the odo
What would you expect to pay???
Also, what wheels are these?
I am thinking, sell them and go with some black steelies.....
Feedback welcomed.

Not bad looking, But I have to ask if you already introduced yourself then why would you start a thread in introductions, displaying the jeep you plan to buy?

nice find.
not sure what that would go for down there, but up here in canada, depending on the mileage, could fetch 5500 or so.
nice to be able to take it for the weekend. good deal.
btw, those are yj renegade rims.

for a 99 with a dana 35 rear end I would offer 4k on that one. It looks nice. But that is what I would be willing to pay, if he is asking 4 right off the bat then ofcourse you have to try and talk him down. I love the roof rack that right there is 3-400 bucks.

i like those wheels, but not on that jeep, i think black steelies would be too much balck though.
so does it ride nicer than your yj??

I was thinkin of the "evil black" look maybe highlighted with red on the body side trim and accessories.
Yes, it rides nice. I took it on the interstate at 70 and took it down the worst street in town and it rides pretty nice.
I am wondering if a little vibe at 30 mph is to be expected?? It has that, but it's not bad.

He's askin $4500. It needs some cosmetic care. I took it to my mechanic today and he said it is good mechanically. I'll probably offer $3900 and see where we go from there...

Like I said, it's not too bad, I just feel a little vibe at 25-30 in the steering wheel. And maybe a little audible vibe.
