where do i find parts that have been discontinued? i need to find a throttle solenoid and also a choke thermostat for my 85 but the Jeep dealer in town told me they discotinued them.

 

if you can't get them aftermarket through catalog, then your best bet would be a salvage yard. Find a lot of good parts there! Good price usually!

 

Some things can be located through this dealership. But often the parts just don't exist any longer. It is like trying to find parts for a 1935 Chrysler. They are just gone forever.

Hey there I work in a shop in NOR CAL , I can more than likely get anyhting you need just let me know what.
First is the Throttle soliniod the one on the side of the carb also know as the "idle speed soliniod ? If so I have a recon for $85.05 as for the choke stat that runs $76.95 also a reman. these are guranteed parts. Let me know if I can help.
