Question I dont understand my 4.0 HELP

I have replaced plugs,wires,battery,satrter,alt,neutral safety switch,distributer cap and button and my jeep still isn't starting sounds like it wants to but it don't. ANY ideas would be great

is it getting gas? prime it, pour a little gas in the tb (like a 1/4 cup) and try to start if it runs for a sec and shuts off then its not gettin gas.

well I know that works for a carb. maybe wait and see if anyone else thinks this is a good idea...

Have you tried changing the CPS (crank position sensor) ? if you have no spark or intermittent spark this can be the problem... Tj

yeah, sounds like youve got spark, have you pulled a plug still wired up and watched the spark ? then u need to check for gas ^ what he said ^ and check fuel pressure.

Check gas first, the only missing link beyond that would be compression (head gasket) I highly doubt it's this but if it is...good luck

fuel pump
fuel regulator
TPS

If it's fuel-injected, check the ASD. "Auto Shut Down" relay is in the Power Distribution Center under the hood. It supplies power to the fuel pump.

More than likely its your CPS If this is out there will be no spark and no fuel injector pulse. If you haven't changed it you really should. I'd almost bet this will fix it.

what is the tps fuse i have checked the other fuses but i know that dont mean there bad it gets fuel to the rail but i think thats it

does anyone know where i can get a cheap used one at or has sn extra one lying around my jeep has been out of commission going on three weeekks im going nuts
