Unhappy I don't get to keep my XJ.....

I've finally gotten the Cherokee I've wanted for a long time, and my 10 yr old has claimed it. He said it's his when he gets older....

Dang, that starts young!

Tell him all his allowance is going into a lift kit and tires since he thinks it is going to be his someday.

Look at it this way, you have it for 6 more years. You can have alot of fun in that time.

I "commandeered" my dads Silverado at 17, 6 mos. later I let a buddy drive it and he promptly wrapped it around a light pole, it was a total loss. I told my dad I was driving and he still thinks I was to this day.

my grandmother gave me a 93 ford explorer back when i was 16. about 5 years ago. eddie bauer limited, leather seats, power everything, sunroof, new engine with less than 40,000 on it. needless to say after 2 years it had ripped up leather seats, 4x4 didnt work, sunroof was stuck 1/4 way open, 8.8 was leaky, bad brakes, about 65,000 on it, rear power windows didnt work and a ****load of dents and dings and scratches all over. i sold it to a friend of mine for like $300. it died on him 2 days later. he had everything redone. hes still driving it today with no problems. ahhh to be young, stupid, and careless. those were the bad old days. luckily my son is only 9 months now and still likes his toy jeeps (for now)

We dont have any kids, but if we did they would all drive Jeeps. Pretty soon the wife will have her Jeep Grand. So we will be a Jeep family. We have two cats and then two Jeeps. Dont really need kids costing money when I have one sitting in the driveway anyway who takes all my green.
