I personally enjoy the simple look of the Rugged Ridge wheels, sold on Serious Offroad. 3.75" backspacing.

Hey Bbasso and Amos, not trying to hijack your thread, but...
Since you guys are detailing gurus, perhaps you could contribute some advice to the thread below. Another member and I are having some issues with paint contamination and our white XJs. We could keep pissing away money trying products that don't work, or just get info straight form the experts. Any advice would be appreciated.

Put the XJ in N and rotate the tire 1 revolution, clockwise and count how many times the yoke make passes around. 3 1/2 times would be close to 3.55. 3 3/4 =3.73 ect.

more stability...
Hell it feels like a race car now compared to the 13 year old suspension. lol!!
But honestly there is no need to widen the track, I'll be taking it easy in all situations.
I appreciate the concern, but these days I hardly go 5 over the limit.

I use chalk to mark one side of the driveshaft yoke on the diff then make another mark on the passenger tire. Jack up the back end so that both tires are off the ground. Make sure to use proper safety precautions.
